the spire looms

"He felt that institutions such as schools, churches, governments and political institutions of every sort all tended to direct thought for ends other than the truth, for the perpetuation of their own functions, and for the control of individuals in the service of these functions."

just in case

Technology: Can't live with it, can't live without it.

Having finally accepted my general ineptitude in the field of computers (and yet stunning brilliance when compared to the rest of my family), I would like now to publically acknowledge that I will never figure out how to make altercations to the format of this site and post here (rather than in a quaint side column) the links to a couple of other little ventures which having been entertaining a portion of my time lately.

The first will enable you to keep track of what tunes have been playing on my computer lately (keep in mind, however, that the most overwhelming percentage of music that reaches my ears is via my car stereo):
Audioscrobbler (aka last.fm)

The second is yet another blog, sampling the work of myself and a couple of collegiate counterparts. While I have, thus far, been the predominant contributor, it is still worth a glance at if you have nothing else to do and enjoy pretentious bickering.
Idea? Idea?
